About Us

Pinwheel Pediatrics was created by Dr. Ewing and Dr. Gerdung as a way to focus their clinical practice on children’s respiratory health. As the only freestanding community respiratory clinic in Edmonton dedicated entirely to children, their hope is that this clinic will serve Edmonton and northern Alberta to better the lives of children with breathing problems.

 

The clinic is designed with children and adolescents in mind, and our clinic was designed from the ground up to provide child and family centered care from the moment the child walks through the doors. 

 

The name “Pinwheel Pediatrics” came from the concept that a great deal of our patients undergo pulmonary function testing to help us following their breathing concerns. Often, we will use a pinwheel to help teach children how to do this testing!
